Cellulite and diet - what can we say? Eating healthily is not that difficult as long as you have a little will power and find out what healthy foods you like.
Much the same can be said of a cellulite diet as well. When you do a little research and find out what foods you should and should not be eating then it soon becomes second nature, especially if you know a few good recipes that can help cellulite stay far away!
There are very few cellulite recipes around unless you invest in a few of the books that have recently been published, like Carol Vorderman’s 30 Day Cellulite Diet for example. However, all of the recipes in there are designed for detox purposes and should not be used beyond the initial 30 days.
If they are, they can damage your health. Whilst that kind of eating plan can help you with in getting rid of your cellulite , these recipes cannot be used week in and week out - so you have to do your own homework to really find some that are.
What To Look For
If you are trying to combine cellulite and diet to get rid of your orange peel, then you need to look for certain things, or certain foods.
For example, in a cellulite recipe, there should never be cooking oils used. You can either use water or good fats like olive oil to cook meats in. The ingredients should also be boiled, baked or grilled rather than fried. Much of this is common sense but some women may not register these little bits of information, let alone identify them as important.
Any good recipe that combines the fight against cellulite and diet should include fresh fish, like salmon for example, or chicken, plenty of vegetables and cellulite herbs as well, given that some herbs help to fight against the orange peel as well.
If you are stuck for ideas then you could try the recipe below:
Homemade Grilled Salmon With Asparagus
You will need for one portion:
1 salmon fillet, with the skin and bones removed 4 tbsp honey 1 lemon 100g broccoli 50g asparagus 50g green beans Thyme, parsley and coriander
Method
1. To get this cellulite and diet recipe underway, preheat the oven to 350F/180C.
2. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze all of the juice from both halves. Grate the rind off half of the lemon and mix it in with the juice.
3. Make sure that the salmon is fully defrosted and place it on a piece of foil, turning up the corners to form a little tray. Drizzle the honey over the salmon. You can either use a clean basting brush or simply drizzle using the spoon.
4. Pour the lemon juice over the salmon as well and then add the herbs to taste. You can use as much or as little of them as you like, and you could also add a little black pepper.
5. Close the foil loosely over the top of the salmon and place it in the oven within an ovenproof dish. Bake for 20 minutes.
6. Roughly chop the green beans and break the broccoli into florets. Place it all in a saucepan of boiling water and cook to taste. (However, bear in mind that crunchy vegetables retain more of the nutrients so 5 minutes for this cellulite and diet recipe should be enough).
7. Remove the salmon from the foil and place it on a plate with the vegetables before drizzling the honey and lemon sauce over them all.
8. Serve straight away and enjoy!
This is just one of the many cellulite and diet recipes out there so try it out. It really is delicious!
