The Best Exercise For Cellulite: Step To It!

Have you ever wonder if you are doing the right exercise for cellulite? Flinging yourself around in aerobics class may not be exactly what you consider fun, but at least you will be doing your cellulite problem some damage and facilitating cellulite reduction, right?

Wrong!

If you are a woman with cellulite that you want gone as soon as possible then you will be kidding yourself if you think that a variety of moves that have very little control behind them will do your cellulite any damage at all. If that is why you are doing those classes then stop and focus on the right exercise for cellulite.

Cellulite exercises is a very specific term. In order for individual exercises to qualify in this bracket, they have to target the cellulite directly. They have to have a measure of control about them that works the muscle, the tissue and the fatty cells directly in a number of ways.

They have to get the blood pumping and flowing directly through that area, hydrate the area to flush excess water out of the body, shift toxins that are settled between the fatty cells and speed up the metabolism to help get rid of the fatty deposits themselves.

The Lunge

This exercise for cellulite can really give your cellulite reduction a boost. It is more of a stretch than a physical exercise, but this works just as well. It works the muscles, which in itself will get the blood pumping.

As the muscles are moved and the circulation gets going, it will start to disrupt the settlement of the toxins. As the toxins move, they then get filtered out of the body itself. As such, the body’s efficiency increases.

The cellulite reduction exercise is not difficult at all.

a) You simply stand with your legs together, hands on hips and slowly step forward with one leg.

b) The stride should be as long as comfortably possible and bend your knee.

c) Your knee should bend to no more than a 90-degree angle and always in line with your ankle.

d) Hold this pose for six seconds and then repeat with the opposite leg.

e) You can do a couple of sets of 6 to 8 lunges and then slowly increase the amount of sets you do.

The Pendulum

This is more of an energetic exercise for cellulite but is extremely effective nevertheless. There is a low impact version and a high impact version.

a) The low impact version of the pendulum requires you to stand upright with your hands on your hips and slowly lift one leg directly out to the side, as high as comfortably possible without bending your knee or leaning forward.

b) Slowly lower it again and repeat with the other side. Repeat this six times in total and then rest before doing another set.

C) The high impact version is the same but you swing your legs rather than lift them and jump in the middle. You can do this for a minute before resting and repeating.

Both versions speed up the metabolism and work the muscles so the fatty deposits begin to break down much more quickly. It will also enable your body to flush out any waste more easily, thus removing toxins in the process!
