Offbeat Treatment For Cellulite

Different Ways You Can Reduce Cellulite

We have seen it all in the last few years as far as treatment for cellulite is concerned. Now that the healthy and beauty industry is making a fortune off the orange peel plight of 90% of women, everyone is beginning to jump on the bandwagon. We started off with creams and lotions and then moved onto massagers, cosmetic procedures and natural remedies.

All of those cellulite cures sound quite plausible, even if they do have their pros and cons. However, some companies have jumped on the bandwagon with more offbeat and quirky solutions to the cellulite problem. They all proclaimed to have made some breakthrough that will make your life easier, but is that really the case?

The Cellulite Pill

This is one of the most offbeat and controversial modes of treatment for cellulite out there at the minute. There have been queues for them in malls everywhere. However, there is no proof that they work. In fact, some experts suggest that they are harmful. As a solution to the cellulite problem though, many women have taken it with no success at all. Some variants of the pill have harmful chemicals in them whilst others are simply herbal remedies that are designed to flush out toxins and speed up your metabolism. If you do wish to try one then choose the latter treatment for cellulite rather than the former, although the ingredients can be obtained for much cheaper by purchasing one or two types of supplement from a health store instead.

Cellulite Jeans

Yes, that’s right… you can now buy pants (more specifically jeans) that help you to get rid of your cellulite. These jeans actually retail on the market for around $150 to $300, depending on the brand that you buy. However, the majority of women that have tried them agreed that they have very little effect on orange peel skin. They are designed to release a form of cellulite gel into the skin when you wear them. The gel is in the fabric and will last for 20 to 40 washes as long as you follow the instructions and hand wash them rather than putting them in the machine. Unfortunately, you then have to pay for a new pair. This is neither economical nor successful so it may be wise to read reviews by real women before rushing out to buy a pair.

Cellulite Shoes

The final treatment for cellulite is perhaps the most plausible one of the three. These shoes are no ordinary shoes. Instead, they are designed to correct your posture and work your thighs as you walk by distributing pressure differently to the way other shoes do it. They actively support your foot and boast that they encourage the gentle exercise of your legs as well as giving your blood circulation a boost. Some women that have tried them have found them useful and have noticed a slight difference in the appearance of their cellulite after a few weeks use. However, others have not. At around $150 a pair, they are expensive so it is worth weighing up your treatment for cellulite options first.
